Sustainability (Composting, Schools Gardening, and Community Pantry)

The Acciona-DL E&C JV CP N-02 initiative focuses on promoting sustainability and encouraging employees to adopt a zero-waste lifestyle. One effective approach to embody these principles is through backyard gardening. Employees staying at the campsite are encouraged to compost their food wastes, and the compost produced is used in the garden behind the campsite. Additionally, the environmental team provides seedlings from the project's nursery/greenhouse for employees interested in starting their own vegetable gardens. These seedlings have also been donated to Sto. Nino Elementary School, Dr. Emigdio A. Bondoc Elementary School, and Sapa Elementary School, helping them establish their school gardens and planters.
