ADJV Celebrates Earth Day 2025

ADJV commemorates the annual celebration of Earth Day. This year, ADJV held a weeklong celebration, where ADJV staff and workers participated in activities aligned with the theme: “Our Power, Our Planet”. The series of activities include:

April 22, 2025— Enjoining all staff to wear the Earth Day shirt and pose for group photos of their teams. Likewise, everyone was encouraged to stamp their fingerprints to signify their support to fight against Climate Change.

On the same day, a (virtual) poster making contest for 7 participating elementary schools took place. Physical posters were judged, and winning schools were awarded with trees as prizes while being asked to sign a sustainability pledge to plant and nurture the trees in the school premises.

Furthermore, ADJV employees who wish to adopt and nurture a tree at their own plant sites, were given fruit-bearing trees and a documentation were likewise required from them to ensure survival. Award/recognition will be given next year for each surviving tree.

April 23, 2025—Online Lecture on Energy Conservation. This was followed by an interactive online session with SFELAPCO, the project’s electricity service provider, on April 28.

April 24, 2025— Virtual games in Kahoot! about energy consumption and generation, with prizes given to the top 5 scorers and consolation prizes to the top 6-15. Prizes are locally made in Pampanga [as promoted by the Department of Trade & Industry’s, “One Town, One Product” (OTOP) store ]
