Every June, Pride Month is celebrated to honor and recognize the LGBTQIA+ community. This month aims to promote equality, inclusion, and awareness of LGBTQIA+ rights. It provides a platform for LGBTQIA+ individuals to express themselves, celebrate their identities, and feel a sense of belonging.
At ADJV, Pride Month serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about LGBTQIA+ issues, advocate for equal rights, and foster tolerance and acceptance. This year, tokens of appreciation were presented to LGBTQIA+ members within CP-N02 to help them feel more connected to society. These tokens were customized based on the identities each individual chose and were compiled into a photo collage that was framed using recycled materials.
Additionally, a video was created featuring clips of LGBTQIA+ members waving the rainbow flag at various project construction sites, demonstrating that they are welcomed in the construction industry regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression.
