As we enter the festive season, Health & Safety is launching our December 2025 Health & Safety Campaign: Guarding Against Complacency – “Safety Begins In Me, Complacency Ends With Me.”

The holidays are a time of joy, celebration, and preparation. However, we also recognize that during this busy period, employees may become distracted or caught up in the holiday mood. This can sometimes lead to complacency, which poses a serious risk in the workplace.

When complacency sets in, the likelihood of incidents and accidents increases. Safety is not seasonal; it is a responsibility we carry every day. That’s why this campaign is being rolled out in December: to remind us all that vigilance and accountability are especially important during times when routines may be disrupted.

Throughout this month, Health & Safety will roll out a series of activities designed to keep safety top of mind. These activities will focus on awareness, action, and building a culture where everyone takes responsibility for preventing complacency.

Through this campaign, we encourage everyone to:

• Stay alert and mindful of safety procedures, even during busy holiday schedules.
• Remember that safety begins with each of us, our actions protect not only ourselves but also our coworkers.
• Recognize that complacency ends with us; by choosing to act responsibly, we prevent accidents before they happen.
