Lecture on Waste Management & Climate Change Awareness at Mansgold Elementary School
The Environmental Management Unit (EMU) conducted a Lecture on Waste Management and Climate Change at Mansgold Elementary School, Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Pampanga, City of San Fernando, on March 13, 2026. Seventy learners from grades 4 to 6 participated in the activity, which Ms. Maria Florentina Magistrado, the Environmental Manager of CP-N02, delivered. The primary objective of the lecture is to educate learners about the importance of waste management, especially reducing plastic waste, as well as recycling and reuse strategies. Additionally, the students were taught about initiatives that may be performed to lessen the effects of climate change – a topic that is relevant and crucial these days.
