School Assistance: Domestic Waste Siphoning Activity: San Isidro ES and Dengue Fumigation Activities: San Isidro ES, Maimpis and Malpitic Integrated School
On October 3, 2026, a domestic waste siphoning activity took place at San Isidro Elementary School, one of this year's beneficiaries of the ADJV program. A total of fifteen thousand (15,000) liters of domestic wastewater were siphoned from three (3) septic tanks at the school. The purpose of this activity is to maintain proper sanitation, prevent sewage overflows, and ensure a clean and safe learning environment for students.
On the other hand, anti-dengue fumigation activity programs by ADJV were conducted in three (3) public schools: Maimpis and Malpitic Integrated School in the City of San Fernando and San Isidro Elementary School in Minalin. The fumigation activities took place on August 02, 16, and September 06, 2026. The primary aim of dengue fumigation (or mosquito fogging/misting) in schools is to kill adult Aedes mosquitoes and reduce the risk of dengue virus transmission on school facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for learners, teachers, and staff.
