The ADJV Environmental Management Unit (EMU) initiated a celebration of Mother's Day in a more environmentally friendly way. Orchids, as one of the precious flowers symbolizing thoughtfulness, refinement, beauty, charm, and love, were given to six (6) winners of the second round of "Love Cap" raffles. These orchids were placed in trays made from wooden scrap materials collected and segregated by the EMU from the construction activities. This is one of the efforts espoused by ADJV to reuse and recycle waste and divert and reduce the volume of waste being disposed of in sanitary landfills.
