ADJV commemorates the annual celebration of Earth Day since 2023. This year, ADJV held a weeklong celebration, where ADJV staff and workers participated in activities that highlighted the impacts of "Plastic Pollution,” “Global Warming,” and “Climate Change.” The series of activities include:
April 22, 2024— Earth Day Celebration enjoining all staff to wear the Earth Day shirt and pose for group photos of their teams. The day commenced with an Earth Quiz, where employees are asked to answer an online quiz, and correct responses are rewarded with locally-made giveaways produced in Pampanga [as promoted by the Department of Trade Industry’s “One Town, One Product (OTOP)”]
April 23, 2024—Face-to-face film showing of a Netflix Documentary entitled “A Life on Our Planet” by David Attenborough
April 24, 2024— Virtual film showing through Microsoft Teams, with the YouTube documentary entitled “A Plastic Ocean”
April 25, 2024—Virtual games in Kahoot! about Climate Change, with prizes given to the top 5 scorers.
April 27, 2024— Earth run and tree planting activity at the Pampanga State Agricultural University and Brgy. Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga, participated by approximately 60 volunteers from ADJV and Envi. Site workers.
